It is important to present information on pages in a way that allows crawlers to understand what they are about. Settings below outline the "where" and "what" of your pages for crawlers.

■ Nav, Header, Sections, Footer

The right panel allows you to specify which parent box is which.

■ h1, h2, h3 +

The right panel allows you to specify which text box is which. h1s are typically page titles, followed by h2s as paragraph titles.

■ Nested layers

The left panel allows you to verify whether text, images, icons are nested inside the right header, footer and sections. Easily rearrange with drag and drop.

Be friendly to search engine users

Search engine users use page titles and descriptions to decide what pages to visit. The more visits a page receives, the higher it will rank. Take time to complete the following for search engine users.

■ Page title

Be specific and include the right keywords.

■ Description

Summarize the value you will provide to visitors in a succinct description.

■ Favicon

Prevent visitors from dropping off

Search engines take some time to recognize and reflect removed pages. Provide a redirect so visitors can stay on your site and avoid leaving, which detrimentally affects your search engine rankings.

■ 404 page

Add a separate 404-type page to your site, which automatically substitutes removed content.
